Located at 200 S Main St, Chelsea, MI 48118, Ann Arbor Pediatric Dentistry operates as a pediatric dentist serving Chelsea in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as dentist, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–4:30 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Ann Arbor Pediatric Dentistry at (734) 562-2430; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Chelsea is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Chelsea is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. As always, 2 great experiences in the last 2 weeks. Last week was a cleaning and today was a filling for my 12 year old high functioning autistic son. The team always tells him what they are doing step by step to ensure he is comfortable and not caught off guard. They listen to my concerns, are very attentive, & do their very best to anticipate Oliver's needs.

Dr Max was so kind and patient with my daughter. He was very thorough in explanation for both my daughter and myself and helped us understand in laymen’s terms how to easily take care of the issues at hand and proper brushing and flossing procedures to my daughter to show her how important it is to take care of her teeth. I absolutely loved the waiting room, lots of things to keep the children happy and occupied and a nice selection for the kids as far as fluoride treatment and toothpaste options for cleanings to make them feel as much apart of their appointment as they could. My kids loved how gentle he was and made sure to throughly check everything possible for her. Absolutely wil be taking all of my kids here.

Our whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. The front desk staff when booking our appointment and upon arrival were all friendly and helpful. Dr. Auer was kind, thorough and took her time to explain the procedure to us and answer any questions. I didn’t feel rushed. She is extremely knowledgeable, and we felt in such great hands with her. There was also a small area to feed our baby in the back comfortably. I would highly recommend for anyone experiencing oral dysfunction with their baby! While in the waiting room, we also witnessed a young girl who was a patient and the Tech and Dr. Auer were so kind to her as she was having a lot of anxiety about her procedure. You can tell they take the time to care for their patients. I wish we lived closer so this could be our family dentist!

We’ve been holding off on the dentist for my 2 year old because he has a highly sensitive gag reflex and no tolerance for teeth brushing at home. We wanted to wait until he had some more understanding to go. The office was clean and the waiting room was well stocked with toys. Very inviting for small children. Our Dr. was incredible with him! She was calm, positive, reassuring and made it such a quick and painless experience. He told me he had fun at the dentist today. The little toys at the end helped boost his mood. Highly recommend and look forward to continuing his dental care with this office.

Very clean and Dr. Max was amazing. He talked my little girl through every move he made before he did it so she wasn't scared. He also made it easy for me to understand the treatment plan we had put in place and for follow up instruction/care. I would highly recommend this dentistry. Lobby and building are in excellent condition. Plenty of toys and things to keep kids busy while waiting. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful!
